Step 1: Prepare the Batter
Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan (approximately 20 cm or 8 inches) or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Cream the Butter and Sugar:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the 200 g of unsalted butter and 200 g of granulated sugar together using an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). This process incorporates air for a lighter cake texture.
Add the Eggs:

Add the 4 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.
Incorporate Zest and Juice:

Add the zest of 2 oranges and 100 ml of fresh orange juice to the mixture, stirring gently until combined.
